Mode of Action

• Ethiprole in Glamore acts on the nervous system of the insect by regulating the chloride channel. It has a high level of selective toxicity, so cross–resistance is not likely.

• Similarly, imidacloprid in Glamore, an antagonist to the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor, disrupts the signal transmission in the nervous system of the insect, leading to nerve cell excitation and, ultimately, the death of the treated insect.
