Description : Under this scheme, a monthly pension of Rs.3,000 will be provided to all eligible Small and Marginal Farmers. Farmers between 18 and 40 years of age are eligible to join the scheme upon payment of monthly contribution between Rs.55 to Rs.200. Eligibility : 1. Residence of india 2. Nature of Job = Farmer 3. Age >=18 years to <= 40 years 4. Landholding of less than 2 hectares/4.94 acres and whose names appear in the land records of States/UTs as on 01.08.2019 5. Type of job should not be Government 6. The premium amount will depend on the age of joining 7. Monthly income should not exceed Rs.15,000 Process: 1. One can approach CSC and present their Aadhaar number, savings bank account number and mobile number or applicant can self enroll to participate in this scheme through the given link : :https://maandhan.in/auth/login 2. Fill in the online application and download it with a unique ID. 3. This form has to be signed by the applicant physically in order to permit auto-debit. 4. Upload the scanned copy of the signed form in an hour on the portal. 5. Subscriber has to pay the first installment in cash at CSC or if self enrolling, needs to pay the first installment through online payment service options. 6. The bank then deducts the first installment from one's bank and sends details to LIC which generates pension account numbers and issues SMS along with an e-card.
